Job Title: Business Development Executive – Ingredients & Flavours Sector
Reports To: Head of Sales - THG Manufacturing
Location: ICON, Manchester HQ, Claremont Ingredients, David Berrymans
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join THG Manufacturing in the Ingredients & Flavours sector. This role can be based at Claremont Ingredients, David Berrymans / Remote.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and driving sales growth for our ingredient and flavour solutions across various industries, such as Food, Beverages, Dairy, or Bakery.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the ingredients and flavours industry.

Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients and expand market reach.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their requirements and offering tailored solutions.

Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to present and promote ingredient and flavour solutions to clients.

: Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring revenue growth and achieving sales targets.

Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with NPD, supply chain, and production teams to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market insights for management review.

Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all business transactions comply with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
Key Requirements:

Experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management within the ingredients, flavours, or food additives industry.

Understanding of food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.

Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to achieving sales targets.

Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
