Why be a Junior Client Manager at THG?

THG Beauty Media is a full, 360 partnership marketing offering. Utilising THG insights and analytics, we collaborate with our brands to design highly targeted, bespoke campaigns with proven ROI, focused around our joint objectives.

The Junior Client Manager will play a key role in the success of the total UK Retail Media team. They will engage with a portfolio of LOOKFANTASTIC suppliers/brands directly to build strong, lasting partnerships while aligning to overall THG Marketing Strategy and enhancing customer experience. 

 

As a Junior Client Manager, you'll:

Brand Partnerships and Marketing Strategy:

  • Partner closely with portfolio of suppliers/brands to engage them in retail media activity, resulting in incremental media spend for LOOKFANTASTIC and positive results for the supplier
  • Devise Omni-channel campaigns/strategies tailored to category and brand specific objectives and measure KPIs, providing future recommendations to partners
  • Deliver effective internal briefs to cross-disciplinary marketing teams, ensuring plans are tied to the business objective.
  • Identify relevant moments to amplify brand partners to deliver quarterly targets
  • Drive collaboration across buying, merchandising and marketing with a focus on driving a connected customer-journey across all touchpoints

Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Delivery of accurate budget forecasts and reports as required by management
  • Provide quality reporting to partners, post-campaign
  • Ensure closed revenue is tracked effectively with internal Finance teams and budgets are managed closely to ensure no under/over-spend on devised retail media plans

Sales:

  • Identify new opportunities, and new investment partners, while maintaining and uplifting current portfolio investing partners.
  • Sales Materials and Pitch Work – Present creative, solution-based packages/bundles of activity that are market leading. Place the customer at the heart of every campaign to improve the shopping experience for the customer.
  • Commercial negotiation – Deal closing and negotiation skills a must. The role will involve ongoing negotiations with partner brands.

KPI’s

  • Achieving annual revenue growth targets for brand portfolio
  • Retaining investment YoY from current portfolio
  • Driving campaign strategy, creative vision, leading channel experts for 360 campaigns, delivering assets, and reviewing performance for each key moment

 

What Skills and Experience do I need?

  • 3-4 Years Marketing/ Sales Experience—preferably in the retail space.  
  • Ability to prioritise and structure work 
  • Excellent communicator both verbal and written
  • Strong industry and brand partner awareness 
  • Ability to form good working relationships with internal and external customers 
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills 
  • Project management skills
