Why be a Marketing Manager at THG?

The Marketing Activation Manager (global) will be responsible for developing and executing marketing activations and campaigns to grow brand awareness, market share, and customer engagement in key global territories. This role requires a deep understanding of international consumer behaviours, market trends, and digital marketing channels. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing channels, product teams, ecommerce and trading, to ensure cohesive and effective activation plans.

 

As a Marketing Activation Manager, you'll:

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Develop and implement global marketing strategies tailored to different regions, considering cultural nuances and local consumer preferences.
  • Lead multi-channel marketing activations across digital, social media, influencer partnerships, affiliates, CRM, paid media and more.
  • Manage global product launches, ensuring brand consistency while adapting messaging to regional audiences.
  • Input into creative campaign ideas and strategies to build regional brand awareness
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to position the brand as an innovative leader in global beauty markets.

New Customer Acquisition:

  • Own campaigns that focus on the KPI of new customer growth, ensuring strategies are data-driven and performance-oriented.
  • Rally cross-functional teams together to drive customer acquisition initiatives and ensure alignment across channels.
  • Develop and oversee wider social and PR stunts that generate buzz and drive brand awareness among new customers.

Reporting/Budgets:

  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, leveraging data insights to optimise marketing strategies, continually providing recommendations to channels for optimisation and future growth against business objectives.
  • Track ROI and key performance metrics for all marketing initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Working closely with the performance marketing team, to align marketing campaigns to budgets and KPIS per channel.

Cross team collaboration

  • Collaborate with regional marketing and ecommerce teams to align marketing strategies and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop localised campaigns.
  • Collaborate with brand team to develop localised messaging and marketing calendars.
  • Coordinate with eCommerce and trading teams to enhance digital sales and online brand presence.
  • Align marketing efforts with PR, content, and social media teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and identity.

 

What Skills and Experience Do I Need?

  • Minimum 4+ years within Ecommerce/Marketing within DTC business
  • Previously worked on channel and brand marketing strongly desired
  • Good experience in multi-channel digital marketing   
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver results 
  • Good campaign management orientation, identify new themes/topics, offers, and platforms to reach target market with those messages and offers 
  • Beauty and digital marketing enthusiast, follows all trends and is early adopter of novelties in the industry Confident communication skills both verbally and written with internal and external teams 
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities, ability to develop strong trust-based relationships and manage effectively 
  • High level of interest in Influencer Marketing
