Why be a Retail Media Performance Manager at THG - Dermstore?

The Media Manager plays a key role within the Dermstore Retail Media structure, leading the development and execution of offsite product strategies and propositions for retail media, driving innovative advertising solutions for beauty brands to enhance visibility and engagement. The Retail Media team are external-facing Dermstore ambassadors & media experts.   

As a Retail Media Performance Manager, you'll:

  • Operate brand-facing, building authentic relationships with Dermstore’s key brand partners to co-develop data-driven digital plans to drive brand goals
  • Partner with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Product Development) to design and implement product propositions that enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement
  • Develop, pitch and manage offsite advertising product offerings tailored to the needs of beauty brands
  • Close working relationship with Dermstore & THG Beauty’s wider paid media team, ensuring Retail Media seamlessly integrates with overall Dermstore media strategy
  • Translate market trends and client feedback into actionable insights to refine product strategies
  • Secure incremental digital investment with new brand partners, through effective pitching and communication
  • Develop customized offsite media solutions that align with client objectives, leveraging paid media platforms i.e. META, programmatic advertising, and other digital channels
  • Ensure alignment across stakeholders, maintaining a consistent vision for offsite product evolution
  • Oversee the execution of offsite advertising campaigns, ensuring delivery on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Use data analytics to assess campaign performance, report outcomes, and optimize future strategies
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in retail media and the beauty sector
  • Identify new revenue opportunities by proposing enhancements to the offsite product portfolio

What skills & experience do I need for this role?

  • Strong understanding of offsite media channels, including programmatic advertising, paid social platforms, and digital ecosystems
  • Previous experience using integrated marketing technology tools like LiveRamp
  • Previous client-facing experience
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in data-driven decision-making
  • Proven ability to meet targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
