About the role

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and dedicated Hotel Security Concierge to join our team at King Street Townhouse Hotel. In this role, you will be ensuring a safe and secure environment while delivering exceptional service that enhances our guests' experience. Your responsibilities will include upholding the highest standards of professionalism and excellence in every aspect of your work, ensuring that all security protocols and guest interactions align with our standards.

Hours: Full-Time, permanent

Shift Pattern: 4x on and 4x off (days & nights shift rotation)

The hotel also includes King Street Tavern (bar, restaurant and wine cellars), afternoon tea rooms, conferencing & event space, gym and treatment rooms, which are available to hotel guests. King Street Townhouse boasts some amazing features, such as its rooftop infinity spa pool, with views of the spires and clock tower of Manchester’s iconic town hall. The hotel prides itself in its reputation for special events and occasions. As such we are very popular for christenings, wedding parties, anniversaries and birthday celebrations. As a Security Concierge you'll: 

• Performing front line security duties, including all visitor and contractor controls
• Ensuring Health & Safety compliance in line with company policy, including monthly H&S checks, weekly lift and fire alarm tests, and emergency light tests.
• Following company and client procedures for Health and Safety compliance at all times.
• Reporting any breaches of security or damage to the appropriate authorities promptly.
• Managing front of house reception and guest services create a welcoming and professional first impression.
• Maintaining the presentation, cleanliness and safety of all the areas of the premises to highest standards.
• Interacting courteously and professionally with building users, visitors and colleagues, providing assistance when needed.
• Completing daily site reports to document repairs, issues raised by occupants or visitors, and other notable events.
• Keeping the building frontage clean and tidy at all times.
• Recording site issues as they arise, including updates and job completions, in an organised manner.
• Maintaining a detailed key usage register, ensuring proper control and documentation for contractors.
• Managing a diary of expected visitors and planned contractor visits, ensuring permissions are in place for all work.
• Handling parcels and recorded deliveries efficiently and securely.
• Performing ad hoc duties as reasonably requested by Management to support overall operations.
• Regularly walking the perimeter, grounds, and hallways of the hotel to ensure security and cleanliness.
• Liaising and collaborating with other departments within the hotel to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.

What Skills and Experience do I need for this role?  

• Valid SIA License
• Valid First Aid at work certificate
