As a Senior National Account Manager for UK Retail, you’ll take the lead on some of our most valuable retail partnerships and strategic growth initiatives. With full ownership of a high-value P&L and the opportunity to influence retail strategy at a senior level, this role is perfect for an experienced operator ready to accelerate one of the world’s leading sports nutrition brands in the retail space. You’ll work cross-functionally to shape how Myprotein shows up on-shelf, online, and in the minds of millions of consumers—bringing innovation, pace, and performance to every conversation.


As a Senior National Account Manager, you will:

  • Lead the strategic management and growth of key UK Grocery accounts, with full P&L responsibility and accountability for commercial performance
  • Own senior-level customer relationships, building long-term partnerships that unlock growth, improve profitability, and increase brand presence
  • Influence the UK retail strategy across customer segmentation, channel prioritisation, and joint business planning
  • Drive annual customer planning, including pricing, promotional mechanics, and in-store execution, aligned to business objectives
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal teams including marketing, demand planning, operations and NPD to ensure seamless delivery and execution
  • Identify white space opportunities, category trends, and competitive insights to shape future innovation and listing strategies
  • Develop customer-specific business cases to support new launches, range reviews, and promotional proposals
  • Support and mentor junior account managers or account executives, contributing to capability-building within the commercial team
  • Report on account performance, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders across the Nutrition division

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

To thrive as a Senior National Account Manager at Myprotein, you’ll ideally bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management within Food & Beverage or Grocery Retail, ideally across top UK accounts
  • Proven experience managing complex, high-value P&Ls with full commercial ownership
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills at senior buyer level
  • Deep understanding of UK FMCG or retail landscape, ideally with exposure to health, wellness or nutrition categories
  • A track record of delivering sustained revenue and profit growth through strategic account development
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to turn data into insights and commercial action
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a passion for delivering results in a fast-moving environment
