Role: Shopper Marketing Manager

Based out of our USA Office in Lower Manhattan, New York, We are looking for a Shopper Marketing Manager that will drive the process, development and execution of marketing plans across offline & Online channels. In partnership with marketing, sales and the customer, the Shopper Marketing Manager will play a key role in the creation, alignment and execution of shopper marketing strategies along the entire path to purchase within the accounts. This role will be instrumental in building out process and national shopper marketing strategy in partnership with customer shopper leads and cross-functional partners.

Why be a Shopper Marketing Manager?

  • Lead the development and delivery of the Customer & Shopper Marketing Strategy, aligning brand plans with relevant channels to create a clear shopper engagement vision across Offline and Online channels.
  • Partner with Sales, Category Management, Marketing and Creative to develop strategy for retail media, in-store and ecommerce campaigns.
  • Create and manage pre and post ROI system for all executed Shopper Marketing programs to drive continuous improvement for future programming
  • Work closely with the commercial teams to influence strategic decisions, drive growth and ROI through the development and execution of annual shopper marketing plans and budgets.
  • Build strong peer-to-peer relationships with key retail partners, creating plans encompassing range, merchandising, NPD, and promotional activities.
  • Oversee the effective execution of in-store and online promotional activities, ensuring efficient implementation and maximized impact.
  • Leverage your understanding of consumer and shopper behavior to shape the brand strategy and champion excellence in execution
  • Supports the annual budgeting process including analysis/key learnings from internal and external sources, and ROI calculations.
  • Develops strategies with the appropriate vehicles to create Best in Class shopper campaigns.
  • Develop business objectives, manage execution and meet brand strategies of final Shopper Marketing plans (timelines, due dates, budget, shopper experience).

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

  • Located or able to relocate to New York, USA
  • 3+ years of CPG Customer Sales/Marketing/Agency experience required
  • Understanding of Shopper Marketing including ecommerce, digital, social, POS, out of home, influencers, demos, and retail media
  • Experience engaging and partnering with customers to develop and launch joint shopper solutions
  • Familiarity and experience with food retail and Shopper Marketing vendors and agencies
  • Ability to provide clear and thoughtful strategy, execute campaigns and analyze ROI for shopper marketing campaigns
  • Work closely and plan with cross functional partners to work towards the same goal
  • Responsible for financial spend and planning towards budgets
  • Ability to optimize executional tactics by striking balance between tried & true with emerging, innovative tactics
  • Experience in managing creative process and providing feedback to internal and external partners
  • Passion for building and maintaining relationships, both internally and externally
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams
  • Experience linking strategy to implementation
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Willingness to travel
