About Compliance & Regulatory and the Role
The Regulatory and Compliance team's primary focus is to uphold product formulation, labelling and website compliance for all THG Nutrition and Beauty brands globally, ensuring THG keeps abreast of and agile to all emerging cosmetic regulations. THG owns and operates many leading brands including LookFantastic.com, Grow Gorgeous, Mio Skincare, ESPA and MyProtein.
As a Beauty Regulatory Compliance Associate, you will assist the regulatory managers and officers to support in the day-to-day running of various tasks as determined by your line manager. You will have the opportunity to get involved from the outset and gain first-hand experience of contributing to large-scale projects; supporting the launch of new products, expansion of existing products into new territories. Through efficient and timely delivery of set objectives, you will support in the growth and development of the wider business. Following 12months of service and successfully delivering against these objectives and role expectations the role will progress to a Regulatory Associate.
Responsibilities:
- Providing support to the wider Regulatory & Compliance teams
- Review product labelling and online content to ensure ongoing compliance
- Create and maintain Cosmetic Product Information Files (PIFs)
- Assist with Product Registrations & Notifications
- Investigate Consumer Complaints
- Support and advise on internal and external queries
- Regular interaction and collaboration with the wider business including NPD, Marketing, Supply Chain & Operations, Sales, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Legal
- Working to strict deadlines
- Other ad-hoc administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Recently achieved / Final year on track to achieve a degree in Cosmetic Science or one of the life sciences, particularly chemistry, biochemistry, or biology (Beauty Graduate)
- Ability to work with different departments e.g. NPD, Procurement, Quality & Technical, Packaging, Sustainability & Legal teams
- Cosmetic labelling experience would be beneficial
- Ability to prioritise, manage own workload and adapt to changing business requirements and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and manage work flow to meet business deadlines
