We are looking for a confident, creative and highly organised person with a passion for brand, travel, hospitality and lifestyle who has a genuine interest in bringing brands to life to join us as a mid-weight graphic designer.  

Our ideal candidate is a versatile designer with excellent communication skills and the ability to mix creative flair with commercial awareness. You will be responsible for the look, feel and creative output both online and offline across our THG Experience portfolio, such as King Street Townhouse Hotel & Spa and Hale Country Club & Spa.  

We are looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm, creativity and innovation to the role. The successful candidate will need to thrive working under pressure and in a fast-paced marketing department, ensuring high-quality, relevant and innovative creative output that fits all marketing touchpoints and resonates with each customer target audience.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Work towards creative briefs with exceptional design 
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team and across properties to ensure design output is aligned to creative brief and channel requirements 
  • Develop concepts, graphics and layouts, making decisions around fonts, images, readability and audience needs 
  • Work to a range of design requirements from static designs to motion graphics, whilst also designing for varying channels from social-first creative, to offline printed assets 
  • Liaising with external printers or production teams to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed or presented to the highest quality.  
  • Pitch creative ideas whether based on a brief or not, looking to think outside the box where applicable, to gain buy-in from all key stakeholders 
  • Keep abreast of changing trends and software in design 
  • Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail on all design output  
  • Design for all marketing channels including web, email design, social media assets, digital screen assets (online) as well as designing print-first such as menus, PoS, posters etc. (offline) 
  • Work closely with in-house photographer to create captivating assets  
  • Manage the property digital screen systems  
  • Ensure all online digital links (e.g. digital menus and corporate brochures) are linked corrects and PDF’s up-to-date  
  • Work closely with Head of Brand on evolving the brand identity through the creation of digital assets and will be responsible for the up-keep of brand guidelines, commercial sales brochures, external/internal presentations and creative internal assets 
  • Act as a guardian for all design output ensuring colour, type and visual equities follow the brand standards 
  • Provide fresh thinking, strong ideas and a high level of craftmanship across all elements of design  
  • Have a good understanding of the creative process from brief to production  
  • Organise and maintain design files and master assets as needed 
  • Help to maintain an atmosphere of inspiration and collaboration  

 

Requirements 

  • 3-5 years’ experience (whether agency or in-house) of graphic design with a strong portfolio to match  
  • Have a passion for strong ideas and innovative thinking  
  • Take pride in crafting the finest detail  
  • Be able to talk passionately and knowledgeably about the creative work and output 
  • Be self-starting, multifaceted designer who enjoys collaborating 
  • Hold a degree in graphic design or similar and be proficient in key Adobe Creative Cloud software (including but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, AfterEffects, PremierPro) 
  • Experience in designing social-first content and using social-first software (e.g. CapCut)
