Why be a Process Engineer at THG?

As a THG's Process Engineer, you will engage business stakeholders at multiple levels in the development of new capabilities, operational improvements, and solutions to complex challenges across THG’s global e-commerce fulfilment network, food manufacturing and beauty manufacturing streams.

You will be responsible for analysing requirements, detailing and specifying solutions to meet business requirements; engaging, evaluating and selecting technology and vendors; and managing the successful integration of solutions to realise their full benefits.

  • Develop/Design solutions concepts and undertake feasibility analysis for e-commerce fulfilment and manufacturing business streams across multiple geographic regions
  • Complete front-end engineering design (FEED), project scoping, high-level scheduling and budgeting
  • Lead user requirements collection, and analysis efforts and perform data-driven capacity modelling, process analysis and cost-benefit analysis; and effectively communicate conclusions to stakeholders
  • Prepare detailed technical briefs for internal clients and project engineering colleagues including equipment sizing and technology selection
  • Review, evaluate and recommend available technologies and solutions and detailed specifications for tendering and standardisation
  • Management of project schedule, costs, variations and cash flow reporting

 

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Industrial)
  • Experience in one or more of FMCG / Food / Pharma / E-Commerce with multi-disciplined technical systems (Software / Manufacturing / Logistics)
  • Experience Process Automation and Optimisation and working with or installing automated equipment
  • Business, process change and project management experience (Any Industry)
  • AutoCAD and 3D modelling proficiency
  • An analytical mindset supported by process modelling and data analytics experience
  • Equipment/system commissioning and running competitive tenders
  • Presenting and communicating to groups at multiple business levels
