E-commerce software developer TheHut.com tops this year’s list of technology companies in the Northwest of England, and is ranked No 8 in Britain, according to the latest Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 annual league table, published this weekend.

Now in its eighth year, the prestigious league table ranks Britain’s one hundred fastest-growing private technology companies by their sales growth over a three-year period. The majority (73) of companies on the table are in profit.
