Confidence is a powerful force. It fuels growth, unlocks potential, and empowers us to take on new challenges. This International Women's Day, we’re putting confidence at the core of everything we do—because when we believe in ourselves, we inspire those around us to do the same. 

Stepping outside our comfort zones isn’t always easy, but its where real growth happens. Whether it’s advancing in our careers, learning from new experiences, or advocating for ourselves and others, confidence is the key to unlocking opportunities. That’s why, this year, we’re proud to support Smart Works, Greater Manchester, a remarkable charity dedicated to helping women re-enter the workforce with career coaching, clothing, and confidence-building support. 

To bring this initiative to life, we had the pleasure of welcoming Smart Works trustees and ambassadors to our ICON campus for a day of creativity and collaboration. Together, we worked on refining their marketing plans to celebrate their 10th birthday later this year, offering our expertise and support to help them continue their mission of empowering women. We welcomed Gemma Shepherd, Celebrity Stylist and Smart Works Ambassador, for an exclusive session sharing insights from her fashion career, imposter syndrome and dressing for success.

We also hosted an exclusive Smart Works pop-up at our ICON HQ, featuring garments from brands like Adanola, 4th & Reckless, and Cernucci. Thanks to the support from our Manchester colleagues, we raised an incredible £5,096—all of which will go directly towards helping women regain the confidence and support they need to re-enter the workplace.
