Life at THG

What's it actually like to work here? That depends on who you ask. An Ecommerce Director in LOOKFANTASTIC will give you a different answer to a Site Lead in the US or a grad on their first rotation in Finance. But they'll probably all mention the same things — the pace, the people, and the fact that no two weeks feel the same. We figured the best way to show you is to let them tell it.

How Myprotein delivered 7 shoots in 9 days

Head of Production Emma Weaver takes us behind the scenes of Myprotein's nine-day, three-city US production sprint — seven shoots across Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Las Vegas, blending athlete-led storytelling with commercial campaign delivery at scale.

Myprotein doesn't do things quietly. When the team set out to capture their latest round of global campaign content, they didn't book a studio and call it a day. They planned a nine-day production sprint across three US cities, working with athletes including Holly Brooks, Charlie Botterill, and Mike Sommerfeld to shoot everything from activewear campaigns at Venice Beach to raw bodybuilding prep in Las Vegas - with a stop at a HYROX Major in Phoenix along the way. Head of Production Emma Weaver shares how her team balances creative ambition with commercial precision, and what it takes to deliver seven shoots in nine days without dropping the standard.

Seun's first Cyber at THG

231 products. One Black Friday campaign. And an intern right at the heart of it.

Seun joined THG as a Marketing Intern on the LOOKFANTASTIC Brand team. Within months, she was sourcing samples for campaign shoots, creating and editing content for social, and learning how brand and social work together at one of Europe's biggest beauty retailers. In this feature, she shares what Peak season looks like from the inside — the pace, the teamwork, and the buzz of seeing months of work go live across global platforms.

How Alise prepares our warehouse for THG's busiest trading period

Alise shares her career journey, how her team prepares for Peak, and what it takes to keep Myprotein production running at scale.

Alise started her career at 19, wrapping gifts in a small Guernsey warehouse. Today, she leads operations at Omega - one of THG Nutrition's largest manufacturing sites, producing Myprotein powders at scale and preparing for Peak seasons that test every part of the operation. In between, she's held roles across production and administration, left and came back, and built a leadership approach grounded in something she picked up along the way: find the people with potential and help them grow.

In this feature, Alise shares what a typical day looks like on-site, how her team manages the pressure of Peak — from allergen cleans and changeovers to 12-hour turnaround demands — and why success isn't just about hitting revenue targets. It's about the stability and pride that comes with knowing the whole site pulled together to make it happen.

How Charlie is shaping his future in Finance

Finance graduate Charlie has rotated through manufacturing accounting, treasury, and investor relations — reporting to director-level stakeholders in each. He shares how the scheme helped him find his niche across a business he's still discovering.

When Charlie joined THG's Finance Graduate Scheme in 2022, he wasn't sure which area of finance he wanted to pursue. Two and a half years later, he's managed accounts for a manufacturing site, supported FX strategy in treasury, helped publish half-year results, and played a role in communicating THG's Ingenuity demerger to investors.

Each rotation brought a different challenge — and a different level of responsibility that surprised him. In this feature, Charlie reflects on what drew him to THG over consultancy, how the rotations helped him find his direction, and why the exposure you get here is hard to find anywhere else on a graduate scheme.

Inside Beauty PR with Farrah Gray

With a career journey that’s taken her from make-up artistry to leading PR for one of the UK’s biggest online beauty retailers, she brings a wealth of insight into the evolving beauty landscape.

Farrah's path into beauty PR wasn't straightforward. She grew up without connections to the industry, collected rejection letters from Vogue and Glamour, and spent years as a freelance make-up artist before a conversation about a NARS kit changed everything. It took longer than it should have — she'll tell you that — but the journey shaped the kind of leader she's become.

Now heading up PR for LOOKFANTASTIC, she manages everything from the brand's 10th anniversary Advent Calendar campaign to a Beyoncé concert press experience at NOBU. In this interview, Farrah talks about how the PR landscape has evolved from faxed press releases to TikTok creators, what it means to lead with authenticity, and why joining THG felt like finally finding a place where her experience was valued — not just tolerated.

The role that sees everything

Accountant turned audit and risk director. Andy shares how six years at THG turned a finance qualification into a leadership role spanning risk, insurance, and internal audit across a £1.9B business.

Andy will be the first to tell you he wasn't the obvious leader type ten years ago. He was consistent, organised, and delivered what needed doing - and it turned out that was more than enough. After qualifying as an accountant and finding his way into internal audit, he joined THG six years ago to lead a small team with a broad remit: risk, insurance, and internal audit across the entire business.

In this interview, he talks about what drew him to a role where no two projects look the same, why he runs his team with a flat structure where a graduate works as closely with him as a senior manager, and the advice he keeps coming back to - plan well, stay adaptable, and trust that if you're good at what you do, people will notice.
