Empowering people & communities
THG x Planet Earth
Our commitment to empowering people and communities is at the heart of our mission to leave the world a better place than we found it.
Our colleagues are encouraged to give their time and skills to support local communities, and we actively engage in fundraising activities to support various causes close to our hearts. We celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Our EDI initiatives focus on promoting equal opportunities, fostering a culture of belonging, and ensuring that all voices are heard.

Our Impact
THG x The Christie
Giving back is a fundamental part of life at THG. We partner with local and global organisations to provide resources and support where it's needed most. Whether it's through donations, sponsorships, or in-kind contributions, we are dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.
In 2024, we invited colleagues across the Group to choose our Charity of the Year and they chose The Christie Charity, leading experts in cancer care, research, and education. Together, we raised over £110,000 which will be used to fund specialist equipment in their new Advanced Scanning & Imaging Centre (ASIC).
Anna McIntosh, Major Relationships Development Manager, said, “Without help from organisations like THG, The Christie simply couldn’t do the lifesaving and life-changing work that it does every day. Thank you once again on behalf of Christie patients."

Our Impact
Investing in our people is investing in our future.
We pride ourselves on creating career‑defining opportunities for our people, and our in-house L&D offering allows us to do that. It's 'learning owned by you, supported by your manager, and backed by THG.'
In 2025 we are launching a comprehensive job architecture framework to provide clear pathways for progression and help colleagues understand and achieve their career goals.

Parenthood Programme
In 2023, we launched our global parenthood programme to offer wrap around support to working families across all areas of the business. This included up to 6 months full pay during parental leave, up to 10 days paid time off for IVF and/or fertility treatment, and up to 10 days compassionate leave. We've also introduced the Workplace Nursery scheme, a new benefit for our UK colleagues to help them save on their monthly childcare bills.
