These goals relate to the following SDGs:
We have committed to setting Science Based Targets by the end of 2022, aligning with the UK Government’s target for net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, and the Paris Climate Agreement to limit the global temperature increase to 1.5 °C.
In the meantime, we have taken immediate climate action by offsetting all our operational carbon emissions. We are proud to be a certified CarbonNeutral® company. But we want to take it one step further. We are also committing to offsetting all our historical emissions since THG began and all our future emissions hereafter.
To protect the planet as we know it, and to restore its valuable natural resources, we will take a stand against deforestation, avoid wasting water and use renewable energy for 100% of our operations.
We believe the climate crisis can only be solved through collaboration and sharing expertise. We are inviting all our customers, suppliers and THG Ingenuity partners to pledge their own commitments and join our THG x Planet Earth partnership.
We owe it to our customers to reinvent online retail for the better. That is why we have introduced initiatives like eco deliveries. And why we will continue to keep bringing in new, sustainable solutions to help customers reduce their environmental impact when they shop with our brands.
